Spring greeting
A poem on the coming of spring by CoraLynn
Spring greeting
This year, spring greeted me when
the branches were still winter-worn.
Hope will soon be budding
at their fingertips as the moon
makes more space for the sun
to rejoice in splendor. Within the early morning
hush the lively birdsong can already be heard,
as sweet little honey-kisses
waking up the slumbering souls
of this world. Everywhere there is
promise and joy floating in the air.
A gentle offering I am eager to fully inhale.
For, I welcome all of this season
to nest itself into my unlovable parts
and thaw the last remnants of
my frosted wintery heart.

A Gentle Quill

Really beautiful. 🥰 This made me smile and made something inside hum with joy and comfort.
Love this! It's wonderful to greet Spring back 🌸 and these words match them so well 🦋✨️
